Job Summary:
The security guard has the overall responsibility of patrolling the facility, inside and out for the purpose of maintaining a secure environment for employees of Andrew Wommack Ministries, students and staff of Charis Bible College as well as visitors.
Job Description:
| Patrol facility, inside and out on a regular schedule | |
| Monitor parking areas | |
| Monitor surveillance cameras from inside security office | |
| Address trespassers in a courteous manner and safely escort them off the property if necessary | |
| Enforce speed limits and parking rules on the facility drives and parking areas | |
| Investigate disturbances and assess how to administer solutions to resolve or eliminate possible threat to persons and/or property of the ministry | |
| Helps to manage response to emergencies such as fires, bomb threats, disturbances, or building evacuations | |
| Fill out and maintain accurate incident reports and other related paper work | |
| Other tasks as assigned |
Required Skills:
| High School Diploma or equivalent | |
| 1-2 years experience in the field or in a related area | |
| Good communication skills | |
| Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism | |
| Physical ability to control and apprehend persons in the event of a disturbance which requires such action | |
| Perform with integrity and professionalism in every work situation |
